An industrial story.Since 1974.

For over 50 years, we have transformed tubes, profiles and sheet metal into custom metal components, supporting every project from prototype to series production.

Bent steel tubular components manufactured by RECA

An industrial story

A story built through production milestones.

RECA began with Renato Cavallini’s vision and, with Antonio and Andrea, became a company able to change sectors without losing its identity.

The common thread is tube processing: technical expertise, solution research and close attention to the production flow.

50+years of industrial experience

6integrated production processes

Evolution

Every decision opens a new process.

Furniture with tubular metal structures, RECA’s first production sector

1974 · The beginning

Renato Cavallini founds RECA.

It starts with metal for furniture: practical, essential production where manual precision meets the vision of a company destined to grow.

RECA family business headquarters in Pontedera

Family · Second generation

Antonio and Andrea join the company.

The second generation brings organisational energy and continuity. RECA remains a family business while increasingly operating with an industrial structure.

Tubular frame for motor vehicles, an industrial sector developed by RECA

Piaggio · Diversification

Diversification changes the scale.

After a few years, production expands into industrial sectors and motor vehicles, particularly through Piaggio S.p.A. The tube becomes the technical language used to answer very different requirements.

Industrial production of tubular components for different markets

2008 · New markets

More markets, more applications.

2008 brings another transformation. RECA broadens the sectors it serves and strengthens its adaptability: not just manufacturing, but finding the best route for every requirement.

Photovoltaic system integrated into the roof of an industrial facility

2015 · Energy

Photovoltaics enter the production flow.

The photovoltaic system produces approximately 60% of the facility’s energy demand. Sustainability becomes an infrastructural choice tied directly to the plant’s competitiveness.

Aluminium tubes, profiles and components processed by RECA

2024 · Aluminium

The aluminium department is established.

The new department specialising in aluminium processing further expands the facility. Production becomes broader, more autonomous and more complete.

Salvagnini laser system in RECA’s new sheet metal department

2026 · Sheet metal

A new department for sheet metal.

Sheet metal processing adds a decisive piece to the production chain. RECA can manage more stages in-house and offer customers a more integrated, faster and more competitive service.

Specialisation

The tube remains the starting point. Not the limit.

Steel, stainless steel and aluminium move through a production flow built around the component. Each process can stand alone or integrate with the others, reducing external steps and strengthening repeatability in series production.
