What does RECA manufacture?
RECA manufactures made-to-drawing components from tubes, profiles and sheet metal. The service may include technical analysis, prototyping, dedicated tooling and series production, with a process defined around the component’s geometry and function.
Which metalworking processes does RECA provide?
Core processes include laser cutting, tube bending, tube forming, stamping, welding and sheet-metal working. They can be combined to supply a component close to its required final configuration.
Does RECA manufacture exclusively to customer drawings?
Production is set up according to the customer’s specifications. A 2D drawing, 3D model or technical documentation allows material, geometry, tolerances and quantities to be reviewed before defining the production process.
Can several processes be combined on the same component?
Yes. A component may require laser cutting, bending, forming and welding, for example. Integrating the stages makes it possible to coordinate references, tooling and inspections within one production route.
Does RECA produce prototypes and series batches?
Yes. The route may begin with a prototype or pre-series to validate shape, fit and process, then continue into series production after technical approval. See the design and prototyping process.

Which metals does RECA process?
RECA mainly processes carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Material and supply condition are reviewed against section, geometry, finish, strength and the component’s operating conditions.
Can RECA process round, square and special profiles?
Feasibility depends on dimensions, wall thickness, bend radius, material and final geometry. RECA assesses round tubes, square or rectangular sections and metal profiles from the drawing and expected quantities.
What is the difference between tube bending and tube forming?
Tube bending changes the tube axis to defined radii and angles; tube forming changes local ends or sections through flattening, tapering, sizing or other functional shapes. The two processes can be combined.
When is tube laser cutting suitable?
Tube laser cutting is useful for holes, slots, contours or accurate references directly on a tube or profile. It can reduce later operations and prepare the component for bending, assembly or welding.
Which sheet-metal processes are available?
The sheet-metal department combines flat laser cutting and bending to manufacture plates, brackets, covers and made-to-drawing components. Welding or assembly can be assessed as part of the overall route.

Which files can I send for a technical assessment?
Dimensioned PDFs and common 2D or 3D CAD formats such as DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES or STL are useful. Where available, include material, tolerance, finish and quantity requirements.
What information is needed for a quotation?
A first assessment needs the part geometry or drawing, material, section and wall thickness, batch and annual quantities, tolerances, finish and any functional requirements. Files can be attached on the request a quote page.
Can RECA help industrialise a component?
Yes. Technical analysis defines the process sequence, tooling, controls and critical points before series production. The aim is to turn the drawing into a repeatable process aligned with the required function and volumes.
Does RECA design dedicated fixtures, tools and gauges?
When required, RECA can internally develop tools, dies, welding fixtures and inspection gauges. Tooling is defined together with the process to support repeatability and component verification.
How long does a quotation or prototype take?
Timing depends on data completeness, geometric complexity, material and the need for dedicated tooling. After reviewing the documentation, RECA can outline the stages and a schedule consistent with the actual project.

Is RECA ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. RECA’s quality management system is ISO 9001 certified. The current certificate can be opened from the homepage and is linked to the company information on the website.
How are manufacturing tolerances defined?
Tolerances are not identical for every component. They are assessed according to material, section, geometry, production sequence and assembly requirements. The drawing should distinguish functional dimensions from non-critical ones.
Which quality checks can be included?
Depending on the project, dimensional inspection, dedicated fixtures and gauges, visual checks, weld checks and functional tests may be defined. The inspection plan and frequency are linked to the component requirements.
Which industrial sectors does RECA serve?
RECA manufactures components for metal furniture, fitness equipment, automotive and two-wheelers, buses and trains, construction, pressure washers, generator sets, earthmoving machinery, exhaust systems and automated access systems, as well as custom industrial applications.
Can RECA handle both small batches and ongoing production?
The solution is assessed against batch quantity, annual volumes, delivery frequency and tooling investment. Prototypes, pre-series and ongoing production need different setups, which are defined during technical analysis.
