/ Design & prototyping

From design to series production.

We support the customer in the development of metal components, transforming a design or functional requirement into a reliable, controlled and replicable production process.

A technical partner

Design with production in mind.

The RECA team analyzes geometries, materials, tolerances, volumes and critical issues. The objective is not only to create the first piece, but to define from the beginning the most effective path to produce it consistently, from the prototype to the series.

Technical experience

Know-how gained on complex projects and industrial clients with high requirements.

Internal equipment

Internal design and production of dedicated tools, templates and gauges.

Quick responses

Lean structure, fast prototyping and direct comparison during development.

The RECA process

Six steps, one productive goal.

Each phase generates data and checks useful for the next, reducing uncertainties before starting production.

01 / Technical analysis

Design and requirements

We evaluate the component, the material, the tolerances, the expected quantities and the required performances.

02 / Trial

Productive hypothesis

We define the sequence of processes and prepare a transparent technical quotation.

03 / Prototype

First piece

We create the prototype to verify the shape, couplings, function and feasibility of the cycle.

04 / Equipment

Ad hoc tools

We design dedicated dies, welding templates and control gauges internally.

05 / Validation

Pre-series

Pre-series allows parameters, controls and repeatability to be stabilized before approval.

06 / Production

Controlled series

The validated process moves on to production, with controls defined for each work phase.

Development times

A clear path, from the request to the standard piece.

This diagram shows an example of a project developed by RECA: estimate and process hypothesis, prototype, equipment, pre-series and start of production.

Indicative example taken from a RECA project. Durations and overlaps vary depending on geometry, materials, equipment and customer approvals.

A real case

From the idea to the finished component.

The virtual studio checks for clutter and interference; the dedicated equipment makes the shape possible; the physical prototype confirms the result before the series.

Verification and control

Every technical choice must become measurable.

Validation is not limited to the prototype. Materials, machine parameters and component characteristics are monitored throughout the process, with controls suited to the function of the piece.

Incoming materials

Compliance control and management of material certificates.

Process parameters

Work orders by phase with defined parameters and checks.

3D control

Verification of curvatures and machine configuration with measurement systems.

Dedicated calibres

Specific templates and gauges to check shape and repeatability.

Qualified welding

Qualified processes and operators based on project needs.

Functional tests

Aesthetic, dimensional checks and leak tests when required.

Technical estimate

The cost arises from the process, not from a generic estimate.

Material

Pipe, sheet or starting component, quantities and specifications required.

Processes

Cutting, bending, stamping, welding and complementary phases.

Equipment

Bending tools, welding jigs and production equipment.

Controls

Dedicated gauges, dimensional checks and tests foreseen by the project.
