SHEET METAL WORKING

We create custom-made sheet metal components, combining precision, production flexibility and constant quality control.

Thanks to dedicated technologies and controlled production processes, R.E.C.A. performs cutting, drilling, slotting, bending and shaping of sheet metal. Each component is made according to customer specifications, with high repeatability and attention to finishing.

We specialize in the processing of various metal alloys

Steel

Steel is the ideal material for those looking for strength, reliability and an excellent quality-price ratio. Thanks to its versatility, it is used in sectors such as furniture, agriculture, automotive, construction machinery, pressure washer frames and power generators.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel is indispensable where hygiene, corrosion resistance and impeccable aesthetics are required. Typical applications include: food industry, refrigeration, exhaust manifolds and luxury furniture.

Aluminium

Aluminium is the perfect solution for projects that require lightness and conductivity, without sacrificing mechanical resistance. It is used in: Outdoor furniture, automotive, lighting, aerospace.

The RECA sheet metal working department is equipped with a laser system Salvagnini L5 for high precision cutting and a press brake Salvagnini B2 Syncro, dedicated to the production of custom-designed components.

Laser technology allows you to create profiles, holes and complex geometries with clean edges and repeatable results. B2 Syncro bending completes the process with accurate control of angles and processing sequences.

Cutting and bending are coordinated in a single production flow to work steel, stainless steel and aluminium, from prototype to series production, reducing intermediate steps and maintaining constant geometries and tolerances.

sheet metal working can be combined with other processes:

We integrate sheet metal working with complementary processes in a single operational flow, reducing production times and ensuring constant precision and quality.

Tube bending

Sheet metal working and bending are often combined to make complex components ready for subsequent assembly steps.

Tube forming

The shaping processes complete the production process by allowing deformation and functional processing directly on the cut component.

Stamping

Drilling, flattening and deformations can be integrated through stamping operations following cutting.

Welding

Sheet metal components can be assembled by welding to obtain structures and finished products.

Industrial application sectors

RECA creates custom pipes, profiles and metal components for industrial applications that require precision, resistance and production continuity. From furniture to transport, from construction to professional machinery, we adapt materials, geometries and processes to the technical specifications of each sector.

Frequently asked questions about sheet metal working

Guidance on laser cutting, CNC bending, materials and custom component production.

Request a technical assessment
Which sheet metal operations does RECA provide?

RECA performs laser cutting, drilling, slotting, bending and forming of sheet metal. The operations can be coordinated to manufacture individual parts, bent components and subassemblies ready for assembly.

Which machines are used for laser cutting and bending?

The department uses a Salvagnini L5 laser system for high-precision cutting and a Salvagnini B2 Syncro press brake. Together they support profiles, holes, bending sequences and accurate angle control.

Which sheet materials can RECA process?

RECA processes carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet. Material, thickness, geometry and required finish are considered when defining the cutting parameters and bending sequence.

Can RECA manufacture both prototypes and series components?

Yes. The process can support a project from the first component through pre-series and repeat production. Initial verification of geometry and sequences helps stabilize the result before series production.

What is required for a sheet metal quotation?

Please provide a 2D drawing or 3D model, material, thickness, quantities, tolerances, bends and finishes. If the component must be welded or assembled, the overall assembly drawing is also useful.
